Niyyah is run by one person who wanted everything for Umrah and Hajj in one place, explained clearly, and made with care, for pilgrims anywhere in the UK.
The story
Getting ready for Umrah shouldn't feel like a scavenger hunt.
I'm Humzah, and I started Niyyah in Glasgow in 2026. Getting ready for Umrah usually means buying bits from five different places, searching through forum posts for what to pack, and carrying a guidebook that's either too small to read or too heavy to take with you.
Niyyah is my answer to that. Today the shop sells printable planners for every stage of the journey and personalised gifts for pilgrims and the people who send them off. Next come the two things I most wish existed: a clear, scholar-reviewed guide and a complete kit in one box.
It's a small shop and I do the work myself, with help from tools like AI for design and writing, which I finish and check by hand. Personalised items are printed to order in the UK by our production partner, Printify.

Why "Niyyah"
Niyyah means intention. Every act of worship begins with one, and so does every Umrah: you make your intention before you enter ihram.

Before you order
How do I order?
Everything is sold through our Etsy shop. Tap a product and it opens on Etsy, where you pay securely with Etsy's buyer protection.
Why is the price of a download higher on Etsy than I expected?
Etsy adds UK VAT to digital downloads at checkout. The prices on this website already include it, so they match what you pay.
How do downloads work?
As soon as payment goes through, your files appear on your Etsy Purchases page. Most come as an A4 PDF and a US Letter PDF. Print at home or at a print shop, as many copies as you need for your family.
How does personalisation work?
Type the name exactly as you want it in the personalisation box on Etsy. It's printed exactly as typed, so please check the spelling.
How long does delivery take?
Personalised items are made to order in the UK, usually within 2 to 3 working days, then sent by Royal Mail. Allow about a week in total.
Can I return something?
Personalised items can't be returned unless they arrive faulty or wrong; if that happens, send us a photo and we'll replace it. Downloads can't be returned once they've been downloaded, but if there's a problem with a file, message us and we'll fix it.
Is your Umrah guide checked by a scholar?
Yes. The guide is reviewed by a qualified scholar before it goes on sale. If your own scholar or group leader teaches something differently, follow them.
Do you sell Umrah packages?
Not yet. It's something we'd love to offer in future, and only with the licences and protection UK law requires, such as ATOL. See our packages page.
